URBANUS is invited by co-curators, Gary Paige and Clifford Pearson, to participate in an exhibition which is held in Shenzhen Design Center in July 29th, 2016.
Schools of architecture and research-based design firms are currently exploring innovative modes of sustainable development and new architectural prototypes that can be employed to address problems that lead to rural-urban disparity. The co-curators select Hubei Old Village as one of the research topics for the exhibition. For this purpose, URBANUS exhibits the process of our regeneration research of Hubei Old Village from 2011 to 2014. In addition, we specifically include a board to showcase the resulting proposals of “the Old Hubei 120 Public City Plan” design workshop, which is initiated by a group of people from all sectors of society. This exhibition presents an overview and results of the Hubei Old Village research from 2012 till July 22nd, 2016.
