In the evening of September 29th 2016, the 17th ARCASIA award ceremony was held in Hongkong Federal Cruise Banquet Centre.
The ARCASIA Awards for Architecture, is aimed at acknowledging exemplary work done by architects working in Asia. In so doing, it encourages the sustenance of the Asia spirit, the development and improvement of the Asian built environment and enhancement of the awareness of the role of architecture and architects in the socio-economic and cultural life of Asian countries. It is selected once a year and it sets six awards including residential projects, social / institutional buildings, industrial buildings, conservation projects, social responsible architecture and sustainability architecture.
URBANUS project Library of South University of Science and Technology of China won the Social / Institutional Buildings Award.
